With the experience of photographing over 700 weddings, Bart has had the opportunity to cover a variety of social events from the beaches of Hawaii to NYC’s Russian Tea Room. His portfolio of work also encompasses corporate print work, including culinary arts photography and nature photography.
After attending Penn State, Barton’s successful marketing career in the Fly Fishing industry transitioned him to that of a photographer for the sport. Barton’s blend of business, marketing, and creative experience not only helps him understand the needs of his clients but provides for a professional, personal rapport with his brides and grooms.
Bart has studied with many photographers including Kevin Kabota, Michele Celentano, Hansen Fong, Paul Gero and has also attended numerous professional classes for enhancing his art. With winning images in WPJA photojournalistic wedding contests, he continues his perpetual thirst for new technology to be a forerunner in his craft.
He feels that the best shots are taken when the individuals are unaware of the camera. By following the action, rather than leading it, Barton creates a series of images telling the story of your day. His stealth is amazing. Barton has been married to his wife, Sandy, for nineteen years, has two daughters, two Border Collies and currently resides in Pipersville, Pennsylvania.
